PICA Manufacturing Solutions, Inc. in Derry, NH seeks Validation Engineer. Provide support for product and process quality activities at our company, specifically: product failure investigations, corrective actions, Product/Process improvement efforts Analyze customer technical specifications, Fabrication drawings, and process requirements. Generate internal quality reports based on CAR/CI, complaints, and yield. Propose and drive product/process improvement initiatives. Working with suppliers to improve overall performance (FAIR & CPK). Maintain metrics to evaluate process performance and working with manufacturing to ensure that expectations are met. Coordinate PPAP activities (pFMEA, CP, Capability reports, Validations, GR&R). Create and update work instructions, inspection checklists, and procedures. Collaborate with team members regarding new product introduction, product problems, and issues with assemblies. Generate and coordinate RMA's, SCAR's, CAR's, and proper root cause analysis. Troubleshoot issues for components, materials, tools, programs, equipment, and Electrical Test. Assist with maintaining PICA’s ISO 9001:2015 certification. Perform internal audits of the quality systems. Collect data for REACH & RoHS compliance. Generate analytical reports as well as CPK data. Responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System.
Must possess a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field. 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related Quality Engineering role in a manufacturing environment. Must possess at least 1 year of experience with: (i) ISO 9001:2015; (ii) Generating, troubleshooting, and investigating RMAs, CARs, and NCMRs; (iii) inspection of PCB & Flex per IPC standards; (iv) Internal Auditing and Electrical Testing; (v) operating AOI Equipment; (vi) PCB manufacturing; and (vii) FAIR’s.
