Position Overview:  

Technical sales engineer is a direct sales position at PICA Manufacturing Solutions (PICA) responsible for creating and growing a base of customers that purchase flexible, rigid, and rigid flexible printed circuits & assemblies. The sales engineer oversees finding and qualifying potential customers, and promoting PICA’s capabilities to them. Looking for a business hunter with network of potential customers to grow the business.  Leads are referred from marketing resources including trade shows, advertising, industry referrals and the website. You will ensure consistent and profitable growth in sales revenues through marketing activities and pricing strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identifies new prospects and develops relationships
  • Converts prospects into leads through adequate sales activities
  • Drives the pricing process.
  • Closes deals and books orders
  • Manage project development from initiation through production ramp-up
  • Helps to resolves customer complaints by using all available company resources
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy
  • Moderate travel required

Skills/Requirements:

  • Self-motivated, customer focused, and goal oriented
  • Strong planning and organization skills with demonstrated multi-project management experience
  • Territory management, prospecting, negotiation and closing skills
  • College degree, technical degree preferred
  • 5 years of technical sales experience in electronics; Flex Circuits, or Printed Circuit Boards a plus
  • Location is flexible, and can work from home office, New England area is a major plus
